Heavy-Duty Mainline Inspection
A push camera reel ends where the rod runs out, and on a long site main that can be well short of the first junction. The tractor keeps driving. Large diameter mains and long runs under carparks and access roads are what this kit was built for.
360-Degree Pan & Tilt Optics
The camera head rotates and tilts on command, so the operator can stop at a junction and look straight up the branch. Cracks in the crown of the pipe get seen. A fixed forward-facing pipeline camera drives straight past them.
Precision Laser Profiling
A laser ring projected onto the pipe wall measures ovality and deformation as the tractor cam moves. Useful on older concrete and PVC where a line has deformed under load but hasn't cracked yet.
WAA&A-Compliant Diagnostics
Defects found during a CCTV pipeline inspection are coded to the WSAA Conduit Inspection Reporting Code of Australia. Your report reads the same way a council or water authority report reads, so a hydraulic consultant can act on it without translation.
Footage before the liner goes in proves what was there. Afterwards, the same run confirms the liner cured properly and no lateral got sealed over.

The line gets cleaned first where sediment would blind the lens. There's no point running a pipeline inspection camera through a main half full of silt.
The robotic crawler drives the run while a second operator tracks the head from the surface with a locator. Positions get marked while the head is still in the line.
The footage and the grading come back as one CCTV pipe survey report, referenced to the access points so anyone reading it later can find the same spot.
CCTV pipe inspection cost turns mostly on length and access. A long run under a carpark with one entry point is a different job to a short section beside a plant room. If the main needs cleaning before the crawler camera goes in, that gets quoted separately. We price after we've looked at the access.
Depends on the length of the run and how much cleaning the line needs first. A single main on a school site is usually a half day. A full sewer survey across a campus gets scheduled across several visits, often during term break so the site keeps operating.
A drain camera is pushed down the line on a flexible rod by hand. A tractor camera drives itself on wheels, carries stronger lighting and can pan and tilt to look at one specific defect. Both track from the surface, so either is a drain camera with locator in practice. Past a certain length of large diameter main, the rod runs out before the line does.
There's no expiry on it. The footage records the pipe as it was on the day. For a lease handover or a defects claim, a CCTV drain survey more than a year old will usually get challenged, and lines carrying grease or roots change faster than that. Asset owners running a maintenance program re-inspect their critical mains on a fixed cycle.

Above it, a pipe inspection robot is the only sensible option, because a push rod loses contact with the wall and the picture goes with it.
