The first half of this refurbishment was bringing the box gutters and parapets up to scratch so that the fit out and remaining works could be completed without water damage. With heavily rusted and failing gutters, parapets and downpipes, we supplied and installed 110m of box gutters and 200m of parapet flashings....
This job was done to take away ponding on a bitumen roadway where trucks frequent everyday to be loaded with produce. The ponding was causing the bitumen to fail frequently. The installation of heavy duty concrete pits and grates was selected as well as concrete pipes. Our biggest challenge was minimum falls as the roadway and adjacent spoon drain was very flat and was overcome by taking levels and laying pipework with a laser level.
This job came at the last minute as a compliance issue with additional structures requiring an extra fire hydrant. The system is boosted with diesel pumps. The materials used was red line PE to suit existing and the jointing method was EF Poly Welding. Our biggest challenge here was time constraints and limited access....
Consisting of 700m of PE pipework, and a live mains tap-in, this job was fairly big. Our installation required approval and certification from QUU as well as AS3500 compliance. The water pipework fed a house as well as UQ’s cattle research facility via trickle feed system to the existing tanks....
Completed over the summer months, 9 systems were installed to combat the high electricity usage from banks of electric storage water heaters. The solution was to use the sun and there was a lot of real estate on the roof with which to utilise solar collectors and tubes....
Installed at late 2017, the requirements for this job was to catch the roof water and store it for use on all the toilets within Riddell Halls to save water. Quite often these tanks are empty and we to date (January 2019) have provided xxxx litres supplied for flushing of toilets. All new pipework had to be installed inside the buildings to the toilets.
